Jeonju Nailed It!

Last Spring of May 2019, we held our first-ever fun baked goods event which involved no baking, but a lot of decorating! 지난 2019년 5월 봄, 우리는 처음으로 빵 굽는 것이 아니라 많은 장식들이 포함된 즐거운 빵 굽기 행사를 열었습니다!

Inspired by the Netflix show, “Nailed It” which is a competition among amateur bakers who are tasked to copy a cake design and in the end, the judges will determine the winner with the best-looking cake. We did almost the same competition, and we were joined by food and baked goods vendors from Jeonju.

넷플릭스 쇼인 "네일레드 잇"에서 영감을 받아 케이크 디자인을 모방해야 하는 아마추어 제빵사들 간의 경쟁으로, 결국 심사위원들이 가장 잘생긴 케이크로 우승자를 결정하게 됩니다. 우리는 거의 같은 대회를 했고, 전주에서 온 식품과 구운 제품 판매상들과 함께 했습니다.

“It was a unique filled with laughter, excitement, and sugar.”

We did three rounds of the competition, and in the end, it was Adriaan Naude, an English teacher from South Africa, who won first place with his creative cake designs. It was a fun, family-friendly event that was enjoyed by both Korean and international families in Jeonju.

대회를 세 차례나 치렀는데, 결국 창의적인 케이크 디자인으로 1등을 한 것은 남아프리카공화국의 영어 교사 아드리아안 나우데(Adriaan Naude)였다. 전주에 있는 한국과 국제 가족 모두가 즐길 수 있는 재미있고 가족 친화적인 행사였어요.
