Feeling down because of the gloomy weather? Need some time to refresh your mind and body?
iWonderKorea wishes to start August with a relaxing all-day getaway to the outskirts of Jeonju, where we can take in the beautiful nature views and discover unknown parts of Jeollabuk-do.
Our history of group tours
For a couple of years now, we have organized seasonal group tours with the local and international community. Last summer, we went to Imsil, where we did memorable activities such as pizza making, tasting local specialties, and taking photos at the Imsil Cheese Theme Park. We also learned a lot about rural living and made new friends along the way.

The Hanok Village Challenge
We wanted to show a different side of Hanok Village in Jeonju, so we organized a "challenge" where participants played a mission game where they had to complete some fun tasks. Some of the activities included taking creative photos, learning about Korean history, and getting an exclusive peek at the new Robot Museum. Prizes awaited the winners.
Palbok-dong Art Factory Tour
We spent our Valentine's Day together exploring art at the Factory of Arts and had an action-filled game of Survivor!
We did a lot more group tours over the years, and this summer, here's what we are planning to do:

청룡 가든 or The Blue Dragon Garden is a valley in Wanju that features the best of both outdoor nature and indoor facilities.

9AM - Departure from 전주종합경기장
10AM - 11AM - Explore 산속등대 or Lighthouse Keeper
- Located in Soyang, Wanju, this cultural complex is considered as the largest private art museum in Jeollabuk-do. It has a cafe, photo spots, and art installations.
11:30AM - Arrival at the Blue Dragon Garden
12NN - LUNCH TIME with Korean bbq
1PM - 3:30PM - Rest, relax, play games, explore nature, swim
3:30-4:00 - prepare to depart
4:00 - Departure
5:00 - arrival in Jeonju, drop off in Chonbuk University
